Diplo Crowned 'Best Dance Act' At The Global Awards 2022

Diplo fights off competition from MK, James Hype, Jodie Harsh and Kah-Lo to win 'Best Dance Act' at this year's global awards.

Now in its fifth year, The Global Awards brings together Global’s radio stations; Capital, Heart, Smooth, Classic FM, Radio X, Capital XTRA, Capital Dance and Gold, as well as Global Player, to honour the biggest stars of music, podcasting and entertainment.

Dance music icon Diplo scooped up the 'Best Dance Act' award following an incredible run of releases including 'Don't Forget My Love' with Miguel, 'Forget About Me' with Aluna and Durante, 'Promises' with Paul Woolford and Kareen Lomax, and 'Don't Be Afraid' with Damian Lazarus.

He performed an unforgettable set during The Capital Weekender Live from Virgin Voyages in March.
