Shmuel Batzri grew up in Israel and received his Doctorate (Ph.D.) degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has been living in USA for over 25 years conducting biomedical research at NIH and at a local medical school. Currently organizes academic conferences.

Shmuel, has been dancing for about 11 years. He loves Israeli folk dancing and likes to share his experience with others. Shmuel has a dynamic personality and valuable organizational skills. His professional approach and his ability to pay attention to details together with his excellent communication skills are significant assets for directing a successful dance camp.
